The tattoo world is seldom thought of existing in the same parameters as the fine art world. Tattoo artists, though often having their own style like any other visual artist, are often constrained by the wants and needs of their clients. However, happy these artists are to create custom pieces for their clients, many of these artists do create art objects separate from the skin.

This exhibition has set out to highlight the level of creative genius and the pure creative freedom these masters of skin express when creating their own work.
