Born in 1987, Brent is an Australian contemporary artist based in Melbourne. His artistic journey is deeply influenced by his formative years in Johannesburg, South Africa, where his family lived before settling in Melbourne. These experiences and memories often inform the themes and elements in his work, particularly his striking use of portraiture.

“At the heart of my art lies a desire to capture the feelings and essence of specific times and spaces. Each painting reflects my emotions, thoughts, and social environment during its creation. I’m captivated by the human face—its diversity, beauty, and the way eyes reveal the soul.
